LACY SHELLS INFINITY SCARF

After completing my last project *Beginners infinity scarf* I found these lacy shells very interesting for my latest project.

Its a beginners friendly pattern. So, I decided to make a tutorial using these shells. So, here it is..*The lacy shells scarf for beginners* live on YouTube.






Description:

Yarn I used in this project is Ganga baby joy.

This is a 4 ply Acrylic yarn. This yarn is perfect for baby projects like sweater, Hat, Blanket and so on. U can use it for any type of projects for any age group also. It comes in a self printed pattern.

This yarn is very soft and easy to work. Similar yarns u can use also are Brilon and baby soft.

Hook I have used in this project is A 5.00 MM Ergonomic designed hook from Electromania

Pattern Notes:

Pattern level: Easy.
This is a very easy and simple pattern. U just have to know how to crochet a ch, and a double crochet. 

Pattern is in multiple of 3. U just have to make a chain which must be divided by 3.

Here is the pattern with some photo tutorial.

The Lacy Shells Scarf for Beginners

Make ch 33 (Divided by 3)



Round 1: Make a double crochet in the 3rd chain from the hook. Don't count the loop on the hook as a chain.


Skip 2 stitches, Make a shell in the next stitch, skip 2 stitches, make a double crochet in the next stitch.



*Skip 2 chains, make a shell in the next stitch, skip 2 chains, make a double in the next stitch*. Repeat *to* for the entire row. Finish your round with a double crochet. ch 1, Turn your work.

Round 2: After turning your work, make a half shell in the very first stitch. 






Make a double crochet in the 3rd stitch of the shell from the previous row.








Make a shell in the next double crochet from the previous row.







*Make a double crochet in the 3rd stitch of the shell from the previous row, make a shell in the next double crochet from the previous row*.

Repeat *to* for the entire round. Finish your round with a half shell. Ch 1 and turn your work.




Round 3: After turning your work, Make a double crochet in the very first stitch. *make a shell in the double crochet from the previous row. Make a double crochet in the 3rd stitch of the shell from the previous row*. Repeat *to* for the entire round. Finish your round with a double crochet. ch 1 and turn.










Repeat Round 2- Round 4
Repeat Round 3- Round 5
Repeat Round 2- Round 6
Repeat Round 3- Round 7


Repeat for total 60 rows from round 1.

Now attach round 1 with round 60 with a spare yarn piece and a tapestry needle by sewing. Hide all yarn tails in the wrong side of the scarf.
